SAFER FOR CONVERTIBLE FABRICS
|

It’s perfectly safe to wash your convertible at Ernie’s. In fact, most car manufacturers (such as Jaguar, BMW, etc.) recommend not washing convertibles in a cloth car wash. This is because a touch-free system is safer for the fabrics used in convertible tops as well as the plastic rear window found in many convertibles.
To quote a BMW owner’s manual, “You can wash your BMW convertible or BMW roadster in an automatic car wash. You should use a brushless car wash when possible.”
Please note, though, that If you have a convertible that leaks when it rains, our high-pressure system may get the interior of your vehicle slightly wet. This will depend, naturally, on the quality of the seals in your vehicle. Most convertibles don't leak at all, while others will drip inside the windows and even spray the passengers a bit. |
